The Pie Machine

Picture 1: The pie machine. This is the machine that 6 months, 1 week, 2 days and 19 hours ago we gave a special power: To hold pie. From that moment onwards, the machine designation number 4071 had been given a new identity: The pie machine. Today we were slaving over a hot cpu core to unleash the pie machine’s true power.

Using a pen, I gently prized the primary drive bay shield from the chassis.

Picture 2: Via the offset of the irradiating light from the background, you can see then gentle curves of the pie casing. The top of the pie casing glowed gently and softly. As it was 6 months ago when we implanted the pie in the machine, the top of the pie casing was laden with dust. The pie casing was no longer shiny.

Picture 3: In order to apprehend the pie, I needed to remove the secondary drive shield from the chassis. After a swift snag, the secondary drive shield parted from the chassis.

Picture 4: There she lay, in all her beauty. This picture was not modified graphically. The pie really did have a glowing effect. I felt the dust between my thumb which was supporting the pie, and the pie casing. Oh how glorious it felt!

Picture 5: At this point, a technician wondered in the room, so I had to swiftly withdraw the pie from the machine, and then proceeded to make it look as if I were fixing the machine, by returning the primary and secondary drive day covers.

Picture 6: Phew! Think they’ll notice?

Picture 7: Ahh, the pie in the open air. It’s been too long. The last time the pie were in these conditions, it was 6 months ago! Also, note the accompanying sauce sachet. This was also thrown into the pie machine at a later date, but now is not the time to discuss such a tale.

Picture 8: A close up of the sauce for those Heinz lovers out there. And aren’t we all?

Picture 9: This mug-shot of the pie displays the damage it had to endure in order to fit in the 5 ¼ drive bay, 6 months ago.

Picture 10: Aye, tis a work of art. A close up of one of the dents created. I think the way the light shines off the creases in the metallic casing of the pie is very exotic.

Picture 11: More close-ups of the dents on the other side of the pie casing this time.

Picture 12: Fray Bentos – The best pie manufacturer? Who knows… but the machine definitely wouldn’t have been the same without a Fray Bentos at the core of the machine, accompanying the Pentium 4.

Picture 13: This is a picture of the board the lecturer uses in our room. Notice anything strange about it? Yes, that’s right, the pie has found a new home for itself. It got tired of stuing next to a Pentium 4 core, and decided to live the high life on the shelf under the board.

Picture 14: A close-up shot of the pie in its new home. The pie’s journey has been long, and ambiguous. However, this must be where we leave the pie to travel of its own accord. Where will it go? Only the pie will decide. The machine that once contained the pie has suffered a great loss, its true. But the joy the pie will bring to its new place will once again make the world a happier place. Good look pie, and farewell.
